1. Each product has a "buy point" associated with them and a "sell point""A buy point" meaning, that is the amount of point needed to buy of this item"A sell point" meaning, that is the amoiunt of point that is gained when purchasing that itemthis can be differently configured for each product and does not follow an equation that generalize the placements of points. Some products may also not be allocated a "buy point" such as an OEM sets of products.
2. When you buy a product(s) or different sets of products with points, you will not gained/points in return
3. Each point has an exchange value that equates to a dollar amount, this is for internal use and will not be shown to the public. This acts to aid in the back office accounting system when needed - which provides the total value of the points in dollar given in a total year - perhaps.
4. A "Z" product cannot be half traded with points and Dollar. If "Z" product is worth 15 points and the customer only has 10 points at his disposal, then the product cannot be mix traded with 10 points and the remaning in Dollars
5. In the process of using points, if the total amount of the porduct on cart is not enough to be traded with the points in the Gold Box then the customer is asked to reconfigire their points usage
6. A Customer who will purchase a product, products or different sets of product will finaly need to login before checkout where at this time the customer is provided with the opportunity to use their point system. There will be a link such as their gold box with information on their total number of points currently available. There will also be a history on the points that they have used on previous perchases.
Additionals :7. A customer can only purchase 1 type A product using points. If the total points is enough to purchase 2 or more type A product, the system still only allows the purchase of only 1 type A product8. There is a ceiling X points that can be gained in 1 day. If X is equal to 100 then only 100 points can be gained on all transaction in one day.9. THe points have a life time value, determined with date started and date finish. When date finish is reach the points of all customer is set to zero.

I figured that Squid web visitors who comes to the website are on a specific mission, so while ink cartridge shoppers want to learn more about other discounts, or save this save that program and other purchasing options, I think that most of these people would be more interested in this information after theyve found the product they are searching for. So in the case of the Squidinkjets single view items page this would be the moment where we would influence a potential customer to buy other money saving compatible products (if it is an OEM product) or when we tell them that there are other similar black inks when the main one is out of stock (notice all the product being displayed under the main product in the single view page are all black ink - so if the stock info states ZERO, then they will look into these items to see other possibilities. These presentations are not good to have in the home page, as for in the product page this would be okay as long as it is not too much or else it may distract the customer original purpose.
